Your support could be a lifeline for people facing hunger
You can help people like Jodie*, a mum of four who had to rebuild her life after experiencing abuse, addiction and financial pressures. When delays and problems with her Universal Credit payments left her without enough money to live on, the support she should have been able to rely on simply wasn't there. She had no option but to turn to a food bank.
The food bank gave Jodie emergency food, a warm welcome and practical support when she needed it most. She now shares her experience to help others feel less alone, and to push for changes that mean fewer people will need a food bank in the future.
Food banks provide immediate help when people need it most...No one chooses to need one, but when life throws everything at you, they can be the thing that helps you keep going.
